So you have a jar of coconut oil but don't know what to do with it? well here are a list of things you can use coconut oil for: 1. Just like lip balm you can use it for moisturising dry/cracked lips and feet. 2. Moisturise your dry face and remove dead skin by using 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt or raw sugar with a table spoon of coconut oil then scrub gently for 2-5 mins then wash off with warm water. 3. Some people claim applying coconut oil everyday helps their acne but after trying it everyday for two weeks it made my acne 10 times worse but i guess everybody has different skin so maybe this might work for you. ( Not for oily skin). 4. Rub some on your legs after you shave for the most smooth legs you've ever felt. After i shave my legs i usually use a moisturiser but one day i decided to put coconut oil on my legs and now im not going back. My legs feel amazing! You can even use it as a shaving cream. 5. Dab some onto your nails/cuticles or rub some onto your hands for strong healthy looking nails, coconut is said to have antibacterial properties and is supposed to help treat fungal infections. 6. Replace your cooking oils with coconut oil it's supposed to be much healthier. 7. A hot oil treatment for hair, just heat some up for 15-20 seconds in the microwave and then rub through scalp and hair and leave for 20 mins then wash out with a strong shampoo. This should help repair roots and improve overall health of your hair. 8. Oil pulling 20 mins a day with coconut oil is said to whiten teeth and improve health. 9. Taking a tablespoon of coconut oil a day or having some in your tea can apparently help your body remove toxins. 10. If your someone who touches chemicals a lot or washes the dishes all the time try wearing some gloves when you wash the dishes and moisturise your hands with coconut oil so your skin and nails don't become dry and damaged. 11. The other day i got bit by an ant and and had nothing to soothe the sore so i used some coconut oil and it soothed the bite & minimized the swelling. 12. Apply some to your eyelashes and under your eyes, it can promote longer healthier eyelashes and can help fade the ugly lines/bags under your eyes. 13. Are you stressed about something? Can't sleep? Having a warm tablespoon of coconut oil before bed can relieve stress and anxiety so you can sleep better. This works for me all the time. 14. Use the oil as a make up remover, this can help those girls who are trying to grow long and thick eyelashes because coconut oil is chemical free unlike all the make up removers out there that are full of damaging chemicals and can be partly the reason why your eyelashes are falling out. 15. I get a lot less split ends these day just from applying coconut oil to the ends of my hair. 16. Add some to your coffee! It tastes so good and it's healthy for you it also naturally sweetens you won't need as much sugar. 17. Use it as a delicious smelling healthy massaging oil. It's chemical free and will make your skin feel soft and smooth. 18. Coconut in general can be used as a healthy treat you can add it to your cakes,muffins,smoothies,biscuits,dinner,breakfast and lunch. 19. Have a Detoxing bath with 3 tablespoon of coconut oil or milk and a one tablespoon of aloe Vera with a cup of Epsom salt.
