| Our hair could be long, luscious and beautiful if it wasn't for the fact that most of us use dye/bleach, straighteners, curlers and use products full of chemicals that damage our hair. So i decided to write a blog post explaining 6 things you can do to revive your dead & dull hair and hopefully promote more hair growth. 1.Leave-in hair repairing anti-damage conditioner Use a hair repairing leave-in hair conditioner with keratin in it. keratin is good for your hair because keratin helps keep your hair healthy and promotes growth, i personally like to use Schwarzkopf ultimate repair anti-damage mask it works so well only after the first use and you only have to leave it in for a few minutes then wash out once a week. 2. Let the grease build up If you have a weekend or a couple of days where you just stay at home and aren't planning to leave the house then don't bother washing your hair. It feels disgusting and gross i know but leaving the oil to build up on your scalp is good for your hair. Every time we wash our hair we are actually washing away the important stuff our hair needs to grow and be healthy so maybe just use a shower cap instead. 3. Find hair styles that suit you but don't need alot of heating or products Find a hairstyle that doesn't involve using heat or products or find a natural alternative for example- you don't have to use a curler to get curls you could get no heat curls by using a sock and some natural hairspray. 4. Use a hair mask You can make a hair repairing hair mask that is pretty much the same as a natural face mask but for your hair. Using Avocado, honey and banana can soften your hair and give a real shine. 5. Do a hot oil treatment Hot oil treatments are to known to deep condition & strengthen hair making your hair soft and healthy so i would definitely try a hot oil treatment to see if it works for your hair. 6. Limit the amount of damage to your hair This means you should try to cut down on doing the things that damage our hair by 50%. If you use a curler or straightener every day of the week then try to only use it for 3 or 4 days and the same goes for styling products always limit the chemicals you use on your hair because not only are they not good for your hair but by breathing these in they are bad for your entire body as well.
